When do I need to register for VAT?
You must register if your taxable turnover over the last 12 months goes over £90,000, or if you expect it to go over £90,000 in the next 30 days alone. You can also register voluntarily below the threshold if it suits your business.
When are VAT returns due?
Most businesses file quarterly. The return and payment are usually due one calendar month and seven days after the end of each VAT period.
Which VAT scheme is best for me?
It depends on your margins, your customers and your cash flow. We compare the options with you before you register, and review them as your business changes.
