Does a partnership file its own tax return?
Yes. The partnership files a Partnership Tax Return (SA800) each year, and each partner reports their share of the profit on their own Self Assessment return.
When is the deadline?
Online partnership returns and partners’ Self Assessment returns are due by 31 January after the end of the tax year.
Can you look after each partner’s personal tax?
Yes. We can prepare every partner’s Self Assessment return alongside the partnership accounts, so the figures always match.
