Modern slavery statement
Our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Last updated
Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement from businesses with a turnover of £36 million or more. We are below that threshold and publish this statement voluntarily, because we believe every business has a part to play.
Our business
Praddy Financial Consultancy Ltd, trading as PFC Accountants & Business Advisors is a firm of accountants and business advisers based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. We provide accounting, tax, payroll and advisory services to small and medium‑sized businesses and individuals, mainly in the UK.
Our supply chain
As a professional services firm, our supply chain is short and the risk of modern slavery in it is low. Our main suppliers provide accounting and business software, IT and cloud services, office services and professional advice. Most are established UK or international businesses with their own published commitments.
Our policies
- We check that everyone we employ has the right to work in the UK, and we pay at least the National Living Wage.
- Anyone who works with us can raise a concern in confidence, without fear of being treated unfairly.
- We expect our suppliers to meet the same standards, and we will stop working with any supplier where we find evidence of modern slavery.
Our clients
Our anti‑money laundering checks help us understand who our clients are and how their businesses operate. If we see signs that a business may be exploiting people, we will act, which may include reporting to the authorities.
Awareness
We make sure our team knows the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking and what to do if they have a concern.
Approval
This statement covers our most recent financial year. It has been approved by the board and signed by a director. We review it every year.
